What does this image say to you?

When you look at this image... what you do think? Do you see a machine that was used in the war. Do you see representation of war...Is there a special memory for you when you look at this kind of image? Did you have family members that served in the war... if so what war and what was their job? Many of these questions come to mind for me when I look at this picture, but in particular for me it is a memory that I have from the school trip that my high school took to Washington, DC. This was an interesting trip and we visited many of the sites and monuments that were used in the world wars that took place a long time ago. Have any of you been to Washington, DC... if so what was your favourite memory from there and why was it your favourite memory to experience?
