Past to Present
With the different images it shows the transformation of the different memories. It shows the differences in the images with it being taken in the same place and how it can affect the next generation when they take the picture again (McEvoy-Levy, 2012).
Past to present is definitely shown throughout these two images that I have chosen. Why is that? It is because the first image was taken in the year 1999 and then the second one was taken last year in 2016. Both of the images demonstrate the differences of when the picture was first taken. Between both of the images you are able to see the differences in each of the pictures. Can you spot the noticeable changes that have been made to the picture? Yes the difference is that both my sister and me have grown and become young women in a variety of different ways. There are ways that we still take into account with our childhood and what we loved doing as a family. One of our favourite memories that we are never going to forget is our family vacation that we go on every year to Severn Lodge, which is in the Muskoka.
In this blog post it is demonstrating the differences between past and present images. Sometimes it is just the age change of the people in the picture. Other times it is a total shock to see the differences between the pictures for comparison, this could include the image of the people has totally changed. In reality change is good because they are finding their own personality and learning to become their person. With my sister and we have two different personalities. For example she is the type of person that loves to wear makeup and more dresser clothes and me on the other hand doesn't like to wear makeup. I am the more active person that she is because I am more into sports that she is. It also focused on the emotional and imaginative engagement that you have with the image and what it means to you, each picture has a different memory they can be a happy, scary or sad memory (De Menezes, 2012).
